Most papers will fall into this "track". Unless you are a doctoral student (or a new researchers who does not need a paper reviewed by double blind review), you should select this "track".
Students from various populations may have different needs, strengths, weaknesses, and prior knowledge. For this reason, teaching diverse populations has a special set of skills. This track explores these skills and enables us to learn from each other, both of our successes and of strategies that did not work as expected.
Today, the term "fake news" is popular. But the issue has been with us from the start. This track explores what is bias, misinformation, disinformation, and propaganda and how it impacts us all as consumers and as citizens. See full CfP at https://www.informingscience.org/Uploads/CfP_Fake_News.pdf
The discourse on transdisciplinarity relies heavily on the insights of theory, practice, learning, application, and policy-making that tie theories about transdisciplinarity to the implementation, application, and dissemination of knowledge to inform real-world problems. See the Call for Papers at https://www.informingscience.org/Uploads/TD_CFP.pdf
The case method of teaching engages students. It teaches thinking, not just remember facts for the next test. Student learn by solving problems.
The mission of our journal "International Journal of Doctoral Studies" is advancing the teaching of doctoral students. This track's focus is the exploration of common (and uncommon) problems and their innovative solutions.
Our infrastructure and security are under atack by criminals and by foreign governments. This track explores the problem and possible solutions.
The track aims to bring together accounting educators to share their research findings in accounting education and get those findings disseminated widely.
VIRTUAL PRIVATE NETWORK, CLOUD COMPUTING AND BIGDATA
As e-Skill focus on Knowledge Production and Innovation, for every innovative research project we need the effective technology for the effective implementation. I have chosen Virtual Private Network, Cloud Computing, and Bigdata, as whenever we develop any devices under interdisciplinary approach for health care, security surveillance etc. we need to transmit and store the real time data, Virtual Private Networking (VPN) is one of the most widely used terms in the Information Technology industry today. Large network service providers such as Compuserve, IBM Global Services, AT&T, Sprint and MCI have begun to offer VPN services to large and small businesses. These services are typically defined by the providers as managed TCP/IP networks with strict access controls and some level of network privacy. Successful VPN service providers leverage their vast network transport facilities (e.g. Public Switched Telephone Network [PSTN], Synchronous Optical Networks [SONET], Frame Relay Networks, and Asynchronous Transfer Mode [ATM] Networks) across a wide client base to transmit customer data more cost effectively. The value proposition for the customer is created by the providers passing on these efficiencies in the form of lower costs while offering the advantages of a private or dedicated networking. Cloud computing and Big data HDFS provide a big plat form to store the large volume of data effectively. Moreover these technologies are working very effectively in Mobile Computing.
We are in the age of Computer Network where the effective transmission and storage of data playing a significant role. We are now a days dealing with various types of data like audio, video, numeric, character and many more real time information which need to be transmitted with secured and fast approach. More over these three technologies are latest and useful for society and sustain the effective data transmission.
The Digital Excellence track has three subthemes:
Digital Impact
A priority on activities that have significant and tangible reach in the community. These may include facilitating wide, remote or free access to information and education via digital platforms, providing training and development opportunities for Vietnamese educators or providing sustainable and affordable support to community development initiatives. |
Digital Inclusion
An emphasis on the development and use of platforms that do not exclude groups or individuals from accessing them for socioeconomic reasons. The provision of content in formats and modes that are accessible for individuals with a broad range of learning differences or disabilities. |
Digital Imagination
An orientation toward being exploratory, creative and experimental. Trialling of new platforms and modes of digital engagement in partnership with industry and community. Promoting and supporting research, publication, and exhibition in digital excellence.Fostering entrepreneurial and experimental designs and approaches to the use of digital spaces. |
You can find a Call for Papers here.
We encourage those in doctoral programs and new researchers to submit to this track. Submissions will be accepted later in the academic year and the reviewing will be conducted by a special team. Accepted papers will be presented in sessions who focus are to provide mentoring feedback on presentations in a supportive environment.
Technology-enhanced learning (TEL) is a newly defined field of pedagogy that encompasses the application of technology to teaching and learning for increased engagement and learning outcomes that benefit both student and teacher. It is beginning to transform the way universities operate and how teachers approach the work that they do. It provides great scope for amazing and exciting endeavors in learning styles.
This stream takes a look at novel approaches to understanding our world through research. Authors present manuscripts on new approaches to research which use technology as their central engine of analysis and exploration. Specifically highlighting how technology can be used to nuance and augment our understanding and interpretation of phenomena.
