The article introduces a variety of academic and practitioner information and research relating to millennial disengagement in the workplace. Concepts covered include employee engagement and disengagement, generational differences and specifically millennial engagement and disengagement. The goal of the article is to review the evidence thus far addressing the question, “Are U.S. millennials working in a corporate environment more disengaged than other generations?”
