Day 1 – Sunday 20th July, 2025 - Cultural Tour - Not included in basic Conference Cost.
During this day we will visit two world heratige sites: The Hiroshima Peace Musuem and Miyajima Island.
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum
The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is dedicated to documenting the events and aftermath of the atomic bombing on August 6, 1945. It is part of the larger Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The museum offers a poignant and educational experience, with exhibits that include personal belongings of victims, photographs, and multimedia displays detailing the devastation caused by the bomb. The museum's mission is to promote peace and raise awareness about the consequences of nuclear warfare. A key feature of the museum is its focus on the human stories behind the tragedy, making it a powerful symbol of peace and reconciliation.
Miyajima Island (Itsukushima)
Miyajima Island, also known as Itsukushima, is a famous island located in the Seto Inland Sea near Hiroshima. It is renowned for its Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which is famous for its "floating" torii gate that appears to hover over the water during high tide. The island is considered sacred, with a long history as a site of Shinto worship.

Take the Shinkansen and travel at up to 200 mph from Hiroshima to Tokyo, view the scenary as it passes by, while enjoying a first class carriage.

Day 7 – Post-Presentation Networking Activity- Tokyo
Experience the Best of Tokyo in Just One Day
Explore Tokyo’s rich history and dynamic cityscape on a carefully curated one-day tour that blends tradition with modernity.
Our journey begins at Meiji Shrine, a serene Shinto sanctuary nestled in a lush forest, offering a glimpse into Japan’s spiritual heritage. Next, we’ll take in sweeping views of the city from the main observation deck of Tokyo Tower, an iconic landmark.
As we travel through the city, you’ll see famous districts like Harajuku, known for its vibrant fashion scene, and the Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world. We’ll also pass the National Diet Building and Ginza, Tokyo’s upscale shopping and entertainment hub. A drive around the Imperial Palace—once the seat of the Tokugawa shogunate—offers a window into Japan’s feudal past.
For lunch, enjoy an authentic Japanese meal, with a selection of local flavors.
The afternoon takes us to the Hama Rikyu Garden, a beautifully landscaped oasis that once served as a feudal lord’s retreat. From there, we’ll embark on a Sumida River Cruise, offering a unique perspective of the city’s skyline as we make our way to Asakusa. Stroll down Nakamise Shopping Street, lined with traditional stalls, leading to Sensō-ji, Tokyo’s oldest and most significant Buddhist temple.
Before concluding the tour, we’ll pass by Tokyo Skytree, the world’s third-tallest structure, and drive through Kappabashi Street, famous for its kitchenware shops, as well as the lively districts of Ueno and Akihabara, Tokyo’s hub for anime, electronics, and pop culture.
This one-day tour offers a seamless way to experience Tokyo’s iconic landmarks, cultural gems, and vibrant neighborhoods—all in a single unforgettable journey.

Post-Presentation Networking Activity Day 8 - Sunday
Experience the Majesty of Mt. Fuji & Hakone in One Day
Embark on a scenic journey to Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest peak and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Our one-day tour takes you to some of the region’s most breathtaking spots, blending natural beauty with cultural charm.
We begin at Mt. Fuji’s Fifth Station, located at approximately 2,300 meters, where you can take in stunning panoramic views and experience the serene atmosphere of this sacred mountain. Next, we’ll ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani, an active volcanic valley known for its steaming vents and famous black eggs, said to add years to your life.
From there, board a Hakone pirate boat for a leisurely cruise across Lake Ashi, where you’ll enjoy picture-perfect views of Mt. Fuji framed by the striking red torii gate of Hakone Shrine.
For lunch, savor an authentic Japanese meal in Gotemba, a city nestled at the base of Mt. Fuji.
To conclude the day, we’ll return to Tokyo in style aboard the Shinkansen (Bullet Train), ensuring a fast and comfortable ride back—giving you extra time to enjoy Tokyo’s vibrant nightlife.
This tour offers a seamless way to experience Mt. Fuji, Hakone, and Japan’s high-speed rail, all in a single unforgettable day.
